Terms of Use

1. Scope of Services

ACEVO provides:

• Strategic consulting and advisory services
• Digital tools, templates, and SaaS applications (e.g., HRBlueprint, Veridian)
• Compliance platforms (e.g., GenderGov)

Some services may be subject to additional agreements, including project-specific contracts, licences, or data processing terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into binding contracts. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

3. Intellectual Property

• All content, templates, reports, and software are the property of ACEVO or our licensors.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer our materials or platforms without permission.
• Trademarks and brand assets (e.g., "GenderGov") may not be used without written authorisation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in a way that violates law, regulation, or these Terms
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
• Deploy viruses, bots, or scraping tools without permission
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

ACEVO may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

5. User Content & Confidentiality

When you upload business or HR data into our platforms (e.g., GenderGov pay data, consulting project briefs):

• You represent that you have the right to do so
• You grant ACEVO a limited licence to use the data solely for delivering Services
• We treat client-provided data as confidential, per our Privacy Policy and engagement contracts

To deliver certain features of our Services (including GenderGov and related SaaS tools), ACEVO may engage third-party service providers ("sub-processors"), such as hosting, analytics, and payment service providers. These sub-processors are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf and under GDPR-compliant safeguards.

A current list of authorised sub-processors is maintained in Annex A to our Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Clients will be notified in advance of any intended changes and may object in accordance with the DPA.

6. GenderGov-Specific Terms

• Purpose: GenderGov is a compliance support tool to help organisations prepare pay transparency analyses and reports.
• Limitations: GenderGov does not provide legal advice or guarantee regulatory approval. Clients remain responsible for final compliance actions.
• Hosting: All GenderGov data is hosted on secure EU-based servers.
• Access: Access is subscription-based; termination of subscription may result in loss of access to reports and dashboards.

7. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:

• Services will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Strategic or compliance outcomes will meet specific business objectives
• Files or outputs will be free from harmful components

Clients should independently verify any decisions based on ACEVO outputs.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACEVO is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, business, or profits resulting from use of Services
• Errors in content generated via ACEVO platforms

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the specific Service in the six months prior to the claim.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party tools (e.g., payment processors, cloud hosting). ACEVO is not responsible for their content, policies, or functionality.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of Services after updates indicates acceptance.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Breach these Terms
• Act in a way that harms ACEVO, other users, or our systems
• Are required by law or regulation

Sections on IP, liability, disclaimers, and jurisdiction survive termination.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Mumbai jurisdiction), unless otherwise agreed in a client-specific contract.

For international users, local consumer rights laws will be respected.
